Course Description
A study of the methods and instruments used to assess student success, including consideration of
educational tests and measurements, alternative assessments, portfolio assessment, and
performance assessments.


I have known and respected Betty McDaniel for many years. She is the media specialist at
Holly Springs Elementary School. When I found out she was going to our instructor, I was excited and
knew we would enjoy this class! With her knowledge and expertise, she taught assessment
strategies that would be effective in our classrooms.
