This was our first class in the Master's program and
I was so overwhelmed!
When I got home that night, I was crying and told my husband that I am too old
and didn't think I could go on.
He encouraged me and asked me to remember how I felt the same way when I began
college twelve years earlier.
I am so glad that I didn't give up that night!

Dr. Kelly Pew was a wonderful professor who taught us of significant
philosophers who were important in the world of education.
It was hard for me to get back in the mode of studying and balancing my life
between school and home.
However, it was rewarding to know that I had made my first steps toward
my Master's degree.
