Our kindergarten classes
visited Denver Downs Farm on October 15, 2008. It was a
beautiful fall
day with a picture perfect blue sky. When we arrived, Lee
Garrison Smith, welcomed us to the farm.
Next, we took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch. We had
a great time looking for our perfect pumpkin!
Afterwards, we navigated through a corn maize, met farm
animals, rode on the cow train, had a
picnic lunch and played in the hay barn.
Having been
on many field trips, I must say that this one was the
best one ever!
I especially want to thank Lee Garrison Smith for making
our day so special!
I know my kindergarten children will remember this trip for a
long time!
Also, thank you to our parent volunteers who were a
great bunch.
